To verify your account to Tier 2, you will need to make an online video call with IDnow. Go to your settings page/verification tab and click on the “Verify for Tier 2” button to start the process. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note that some countries/ID documents are not currently supported by IDnow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we are working to increase Tier 2 list of supported countries/ID documents.
Please note that the ICONOMI app is required to complete the Tier 2 verification process! You can use:
- The ICONOMI iOS app on your iOS phone/device. Available for download from the App Store.
- The ICONOMI Android app on your Android phone/device. Available for download from the Play Store.
You will need to go through these verification steps:
1. Review the personal data you submitted for Tier 1 verification
Review the pre-filled form containing your personal data from your Tier 1 verification and update it if necessary. Please use the drop-down menus where provided and click on your selection. Do not type the data in manually. Make sure the information you provide matches your ID documents exactly.
2. Online identity verification via a video call with IDnow
In order to start a video call with IDnow, you will need a smartphone with the ICONOMI iOS app for iOS users or the Android app for Android users. Please note that the mobile app has been designed with the strictest privacy protection standards in mind.
Please open the ICONOMI app on your smartphone/device and click on the “Settings” icon at the bottom of the screen. Then click “Tier 1 verified” to the right of “Verification status” and follow the on-screen instructions.
Tier 2 verification with IDnow can take some time to process. If there is a queue, you will be notified via email as soon as your details have been confirmed and you are able to start your Tier 2 video call verification with IDnow. We appreciate your patience!
IDnow verification requires a working camera and microphone (any smartphone will do). After you have completed IDnow’s checklist and reviewed their terms and conditions, a representative will guide you through the rest of the verification process. IDnow representatives are available from 8:00 a.m. to midnight (CET).
Please note: once you have completed your verification with IDnow, you can continue using our platform as usual.
On the “Account” page, you will see a new status message: “Tier 2 verification under review.”
Your deposit/withdrawal limits will only increase after your verification has been fully approved. We’ll make sure to review your information as soon as possible!
