Copying fee (Crypto Strategies; set by the Strategist)

Note: The Crypto Strategy Strategist sets Crypto Strategy fees for an individual Crypto Strategy. Anytime Crypto Strategy fees are collected they are split between ICONOMI, the Crypto Strategy Strategist, and the referrer/user according to the Referral program (after VAT).

Fees are collected over the course of each month in crypto. As such, the collected value is subject to market fluctuations, and the paid-out EUR/GBP value at the end of each month may be lower or higher than initially collected.

Note: The copying and performance fee is set by the Strategist, not ICONOMI.

• Each Strategist can combine both

- the copying fee (up to 10% annually) and
- the performance fee (up to 30%)

Note: if a Crypto Strategy Strategist wants to invite copiers to a Private Strategy or make their Strategy Public, it is mandatory to set at least one of the above-mentioned fees to at least 1%. For more information, please take a look at the Strategy Visibility settings.

Copying fee

The copying fee is an annual fee that is charged in small proportions daily (annual fee/365) to users who copy Crypto Strategies (users added funds - meaning they copy selected Crypto Strategy with their funds). It is collected every night and distributed in the first week of the following month according to the referral program.

Crypto Strategy Strategists profit from the copying fee for their services in managing the Crypto Strategy. Strategists get paid monthly in the first week of the following month.

• Setting up

Each Crypto Strategy Strategist can set up the copying fee up to 10%.

• How the copying fee is calculated?

Example:

If the Crypto strategy copying fee is 3%, a portion of the copying fee is charged daily from the sum value of all assets copying the strategy (ACS). To help understand this is a very simplified formula for the copying fee: 3%/365 = daily charge (3%/365 = 0.00821% per day).

• Changing the fee

Copying fee can be changed twice a year.

When do changes take effect?

In case a Crypto Strategy Strategist reduces a copying fee, such a reduction takes immediate effect.
If, however, a Crypto Strategy Strategist decides to increase a copying fee, existing copiers will receive email notification of such a planned increase. However, the new copying fee will only apply after ten days, giving the copiers a chance to reconsider their investment options. Copiers will receive another email on the day the new copying fee takes effect. If copiers don’t agree with the change of fees for the Crypto Strategy they are copying with their funds, they can remove funds from copying the strategy any time they want.

How do you as a Strategist change the fee?

Login to your ICONOMI account and follow these steps:
Changing the fee: Login > My Strategy > Select your Crypto Strategy > Settings tab > Fees section > click on "Change"

You can check individual Crypto Strategy fees by clicking on the selected Crypto Strategy.
