Note: ICONOMI LTD is under no obligation to support any staking rewards, airdrops or forks, or handle them in any matter unless stated otherwise.
- Airdrops and Staking Rewards
We only sometimes and partially support the distribution of Airdrops and Staking Rewards to Crypto Strategies. So, investors will directly benefit with an increase in the value of their investments.
Where can you find the Airdrop and Staking Rewards?
If you manage a Crypto Strategy at ICONOMI, all you have to do is click the ‘My Strategy’ and ‘Activity’ tabs, and you’ll find all the received airdrops or staking rewards.
How does it work on our side?
Only a part of our assets is used for the staking purpose, so there is no problem with the ICONOMI platform providing liquidity for our users. As a result, there is no lockup period for holding the assets to receive the rewards. If you own any assets eligible for either an Airdrop or Staking Rewards, you will receive them. ICONOMI charges no fee for the distribution.
To process Crypto Strategies structure adjustments/changes, ICONOMI moves different assets across different exchanges. We get the rewards on exchanges, but not all exchanges connected to the ICONOMI platform support staking. Some of those exchanges provide automatic staking rewards for specific assets and we collect those to a special allocated Strategy. As the Crypto market varies, so do the Crypto Strategy adjustments, so sometimes there is a higher volume of staking assets on an exchange that result in higher staking rewards, and sometimes it's the opposite. Staking reward distribution is triggered each time we reach a specific amount in allocated assets from staking rewards. From this we can deduct the following:
- staking is not a primary objective of ICONOMI and happens organically or passively,
- staking amounts vary according to the organic behavior of the Crypto Strategies on ICONOMI and their structures,
- staking rewards are distributed when a specific threshold is met and not according to a predefined schedule.
- Hard Forks
Hard forks are the result of a software upgrade or a change in the rules governing a particular blockchain. Contentious hard forks result in a “chain split” and two distinct blockchains.
In the case of a major hard fork (a Bitcoin hard fork, for example), users are advised to withdraw their affected cryptocurrencies to an external wallet whose private keys they control. Deposits and withdrawals of affected cryptocurrencies on the ICONOMI platform may be temporarily suspended during a hard fork event to ensure the safety of our users' digital assets.
