ICN tokens are not deposited to your ICONOMI account private address but to a dedicated address for ICN to ETH exchange. If you send ICN from an external address (like MyEtherWallet), there is no email address associated with the address you send your ICN from, and you will not receive a confirmation email. This is because your ICN transaction is anonymous to protect your personal information. You will receive an ICN withdrawal email confirmation if you exchange ICN stored on your ICONOMI platform account.
In either case, your transaction confirmation is on the blockchain. All completed transactions in the blockchain are final and cannot be changed.
You can check your transaction status by searching for your transaction ID on Etherscan. If the following conditions are met, you are all set:
- The transaction has been confirmed (status = success or similar).
- You sent ICN to the receiving address starting with 0xB4CC… and ending with ...6Ecc3e (this address was provided to you during the ICN to ETH exchange process on the ICONOMI platform when you visited the dedicated "Exchange ICN" page. Note: this address can change; always check your address before depositing).
- You did NOT send your tokens from an exchange (like Kraken, Binance, etc.) or any similar platform, only from your own wallet, for which you are the holder of the private key of the wallet (like MyEtherWallet) or from your ICONOMI account ICN wallet.
You will receive ETH to the address you sent your ICN from.
ETH will be distributed in batches.
IMPORTANT
The final round of exchanging ICN for ETH will end on December 31, 2019 at 24:00 CET. After December 31, 2019, exchange of ICN tokens for ETH using steps described here will no longer be possible. All ICN token holders who will still have ICN tokens on the ICONOMI platform after December 31, 2019 will have the option to convert to ETH at the exchange rate valid at that time by contacting our Support until February 29, 2020.
