Communication mandatory guidelines

ICONOMI is one of the biggest crypto copy investment platforms in the world and, as such, takes great responsibility for establishing and maintaining a high standard of communication. 

Besides investing, the ICONOMI platform also provides social investment features that allow users to create and share content, exchange ideas, and strategies, and establish different copy investment connections to improve their investing experience and potentially their results.

Once social investment content is combined with the field of cryptocurrency (which is becoming more and more regulated), it is important to set clear communication standards and best practices so our users are aware of what type of content and communication is acceptable

1. Strategy name, handle, description, avatar/logo, banner & user profile image, displayed name, handle

1.1. Images for Strategy avatar/logo, Strategy banner, and user profile image

It is not allowed to use an image that might be misleading to other ICONOMI users such as:

• images similar to any cryptocurrency symbol, protocol, etc.
• other company trademarks
• inappropriate images (e.g. violence, sex)
• QR codes
• images that include wording/text as described below (see point 1.2.)
• etc.

1.2. Wording/text included in Strategy name, Strategy handle, Strategy description, user display name, user handle

It is not allowed to use wording that might be misleading to other ICONOMI users such as:

• fund, hedge, ETF, manager, buy Strategy, sell Strategy
• words suggesting any past or future profit, investment advice, etc. Examples: moon, rocket, 10x, lambo, profit, pump, Earn 2x in month, Sustainable Profit, Crypto Profit, No risk, No Loss, Only Win, High reward, Stable Growth, Stable Income, Stable hodl, Zero to billion, SafeNSteady, Stable and Sustainable Crypto, Big Gainz, GetRich, Wealth Generator, Growth Strategy, Going up and up, CryptoMillionare, Outperform BTC, MoonyFuture, All I know is win win win, Doge Coin upward, HighPerformance, Moonshot Basket, TOP Performers, Start low and stay sustainable, CryptoGains, To the stars, Luna station, TerraLUNA Comeback, Future Proof, 10xBreakouts, More profit now, ForTheWin, The Safe Strategy, Top 15 Performance, EasyMoney, Top Caps Low Risk, Crypto only goes up
• names of listed assets
• words similar to any cryptocurrency symbol, protocol, etc.
• words similar to any other companies, services, etc.

2. Posts and post comments on the ICONOMI platform

Based on our Terms, Conditions & Policies, ICONOMI may impose restrictions upon the user’s use of the Platform without prior notice. This includes restricting or disabling posting and commenting for individual users.

The following restrictions may apply:

• user comments under Strategy posts or under user's posts are disabled by Strategist, user, or ICONOMI
• user or Strategist posting is disabled by ICONOMI
• user posts or comments are reported by another user
• user is reported or blocked by another user

If the reason to prevent a user from posting is found to be frivolous after review, restrictions can be removed.

3. FCA Registration communication guidelines

ICONOMI Ltd is registered with the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) for the following activities:

• The exchange of fiat currency for crypto assets & crypto assets for fiat currency;
• Providing custodian wallets for storing crypto assets on behalf of customers; and
• The exchange of crypto assets.

As such our communication is also under FCA oversight so these are the minimum standards for our users:

• No reference is to be made to the FCA or ICONOMI to your followers in a public forum as to the pros / cons of the firm, the UK regulatory or registration regime, or similar without our explicit pre-approved ICONOMI authority
• No use of the FCA logo in the communication - not even re-sharing items from the FCA itself
• Public communication of ICONOMI users that breach the above-mentioned guidelines, will be registered as a “Marketing and or Regulatory Breach” in our breach log
• After detecting such a breach, the author will be asked to remove it from their social media or any other public website
• Communication outside of these guidelines can directly damage the reputation and ICONOMI’s regulatory standing as well as it may cause further investigation of FCA directly to the communication author and/or ICONOMI

• Words similar to any other companies, services, etc.
• No reference is to be made to the FCA or ICONOMI to your followers in a public forum as to the pros/cons of the firm, the UK regulatory or registration regime.

4.2. Social trading basics

In social trading, users observe the trading behavior and habits of other users. Its primary goal is to share trading information in a “copy trading” form, promoting knowledge exchange between users and enriching their experience.
